The KOS-CV100 adapter converts the proprietary video output from a Kenwood KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500 Car Portal system to a composite video output, so you can send video to a stand-alone or factory video screen. This allows you to expand your system with Kenwood components and enhance its sound while keeping your current in-dash video screen — good news, if you want to keep your factory navigation radio.

This adapter accepts the RGB output cable from the KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500, and supplies a composite video output for your existing video screen.

Note: You won't be able to use your factory touchscreen to control the Kenwood KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500. Instead, you'll use the Car Portal wireless remote (included with KOS-V1000 or KOS-V500) to access sources and control your system.
